How You Can Support Sweatshop Workers

Sweatfree Factory Closes, Unemployed Workers Need Support

The closing of Just Garments in April 2007 marked a sad and difficult end to a valiant effort to establish a unionized maquila in El Salvador producing for the sweat-free market in the North. Workers who helped keep the factory and their dream alive with personal sacrifices have been left without full compensation and severance pay. USLEAP is seeking and accepting donations to help cover what they are owed.
